[Women's Golf] Day 1 SAC Women's Golf Championships

Oklahoma City, OK - The Central Christian College of Kansas women's golf team completed the first round of play at the Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championships at Lincoln Park Golf Course in Oklahoma City. After one round, the Tigers find themselves in the middle of the pack, sitting 6th out of 9 teams. The Tigers shot 339 as a team, 36 strokes behind the tournament leaders Wayland Baptist University who shot 303. Individually, the Tigers were led by Kendra Jellison with an 83, followed closely by Kari Kirl (84), Alyssa Ramirez (85), Baily Bowman (87), and Vanessa Warner (99). The second round kicks off at 10 AM Saturday morning, and the Tigers will look to move up the ranks with an even better day two.
