[Wrestling] Vikings send six wrestlers to the finals

Des Moines, IA – No. 1 Grand View wrestling sends six individual to the 2019 NAIA National Championship final round Saturday night. Shiquan Hall (SR/Homestead, FL) (133), Eric Clarke (JR/Davenport, IA) (141), Devin Reynolds (SR/Keizer, OR) (149), Josh Wenger (JR/Walford, IA), (149), Ryan Niven (SR/Boston, MA) (165) and Evan Hansen (JR/Kimballton, IA) (197) will all fight for an individual national titles. 

Hansen is looking to clinch his third title as a junior for the Vikings, while Wenger is looking to grab his second. Wenger and Nivens, both ranked as the No.5-seed, knocked off the top-seeded individuals in their brackets to secure their spots in the finals.

Hall will take on No. 2-seed Erique Early of Midland University for the 133 and Hansen will compete against Isaac Bartel from MSU-Northern for the 197 NAIA National Title. Niven will wrestle Brett Bradford of Lindsey Wilson for the 165 NAIA National Title. Clarke will face top seeded David Berg of Midland for the NAIA National Title in the 141 bracket. Two Vikings will battle for the 149 title, Josh Wenger and Reynolds. 

The action will start at 7pm tonight and can be watched live on ESPN.
