[Bowling] Men and Women's bowling competes at MSC Championships Friday-Sunday

COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men and women's bowling teams are set to compete at the Mid-South Conference Bowling Championships at Southern Lanes in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Singles and doubles competition kicks off on Friday with the women starting at 7:30 a.m. CT, followed by the men at 1:30 p.m. CT. Each team may enter up to eight bowlers for singles and doubles actions. The double-elimination team match play tournament takes place on Saturday and Sunday starting at 9 a.m. CT on both days.

Pikeville captured its seventh consecutive regular season title and the No.1 seed in the women's 11 teams' tournament. The Bears went 38-2 and are the No.2 ranked team in the NAIA according to Collegebowl.com.

Lindsey Wilson women's bowling team is seeded sixth in the championship as they held an MSC record of 20-20. The women's team is set to face 11th-seeded Cumberland (Tenn.) on Saturday at 9 a.m. CT in the team tournament.
