[Women's Soccer] Support GV Women's Soccer as They Host 11th Annual JDRF Charity Match

Des Moines, IA -   Grand View women's soccer will host their annual fundraising event to raise awareness for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation February 25th at 8 pm in the Charles S. Johnson Wellness Center. 

Grand View faculty and staff will play against the current GV women's soccer team in the event. No experince needed for GV staff and facultity. just a pair of tennis or indoor soccer shoes and some energy! The game will consist of two halves with UNLIMITED substitution rules.

EVERYONE is invited! It has become a great GV tradition to hold this event to support a great cause and this year we will celebrate its 11th anniversary! Our special guests include former player and alumna Jorie Shields-Smith and her family who have helped start this event. Please stop by to help us celebrate this great event and meet our special guests!

In addition, make sure you come support and help kick off the annual charity walk for Juvenile Diabetes on Saturday, May 11th at the State Fairgrounds.

NO COST to participate or watch the game, but we will appreciate any donations you are willing to make or purchase the authentic T-shirt that the faculty and staff will wear for the game for $10. All proceeds from the t-shirts sales and all donations will go to the JDRF charity.
