[Indoor Track (M&W)] Wayland Baptist Rakes in SAC Track & Field Weekly Honors

OKLAHOMA CITY – Wayland Baptist swept this week's Sooner Athletic Conference track & field awards with men's runner of the week Quintaveon Poole, men's field athlete of the week Donte Irving, women's runner of the week Devin Johnson and women's field athlete of the week Tiona Owens.

Owens, a senior from Dallas, picked up her second consecutive weekly nod from the league. Owens produced the NAIA's finest mark this season in the triple jump at 40 feet, 8¾ inches, which equaled the school record and made her runner-up in the Pittsburg State Indoor Gorilla Classic on Saturday in Pittsburg, Kan.
