A's winter shopping
So I'm just going to jump into it. The A's have a need with the rotation, a short term need in catcher & maybe just maybe a need in second base. The A's have been mention already with a few pitchers. With the catcher position the A's mostly likey will look to sign a player to a 1yr or 2yr deal or trade for a catcher who's about to head to free agent after next season. The second base is not much of need but the A's are looking carefully on who's going to be their next 2nd basement.
I'ma jump in & say this I seen 3 pitchers that been connection to the A's that could all be good foor them.
The first pitcher the A's should take is Matt Harvey. The A's should sign him to a 2yr or 3yr deal around 26 to 40 million.
The second pitcher the A's should sign is Gio Gonzalez. The A's should sign him 2yrs 25 million.
The last pitcher the A's are going to take is a risk with but like they did with Rich Hill & Scott Kazmir it might be worth the risk. So the last pitcher the A's sign is Shelby Miller. Signing Miller to a 1yr deal is a safe bet but I i think it's worth signing Miller to 2yr deal & take a risk on him.
These pitchers could be our 2019 Cahill, Anderson & Ejax who all of them helped the A's made it to the playoffs this past season since 2014.
The catching position right now I'm dito on. I'ma let you guys in the comments below help me out on who should be the A's next catcher.
The 2nd base situation isn't a hard to cover but the A's are just making sure if they're ready to give Fralkin Barreto the position right away or sign a free agent.
Let me know what y'all think in the comments below.
