[Men's Basketball] Murdock Nets Third Straight KCAC MBB Player of the Week Nod
WICHITA, Kan. – For the third time in as many weeks, Friends University senior guard/forward Jordan Murdock is the KCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league has announced.
"Jordan has established himself as one of the most consistent players in the nation," Friends head coach Dale Faber said.
"I am excited that the honors keep coming his way, as he continues to work hard and improve."
In a tough 111-100 setback last Tuesday (Nov. 20) at Ottawa University, Murdock carried the Falcons offense with 41 points, just four shy of his career-high output.
The Wichita native also tallied a game-high 10 rebounds and team-best six assists at Ottawa.
Murdock continues to pace the KCAC and NAIA with 30.4 points per game this season.
He is also second in the league and 14th in the NAIA in assists per game (5.6 apg), while ranking fifth in the conference in rebounds (9.0 rpg).
Murdock and the Falcons will next be in action Thursday night (Nov. 29) at York College. Tip-off is set for 8 pm in York, Neb.
