I'm revisiting my quest for Realmuto & taking rotation starter Wei-Yin Chen just to show the Marlins I'm serious.

Why the Marlins Do this: An Influx of Prospects for Catcher Realmuto & A's paying half of the remaining $58 million due to Wei-Yin Chen over the next 3 years.

Why the A's Do this: Takes care of the A's two greatest needs going into 2019. All Star Catcher Realmuto is an ideal 2 year bridge to get Murphy comfy-cozy. The overpaid former ace Wei-Yin Chen is re-habbing as a legit rotation starter had 26 starts in 2018. Wei-Yin Chen is very stingy on HRs so will love O.co & the A's rejuvenated top defense! ...just keep Wei-Yin on a short leash when on the road and have your long relief ready.

There is no way I want to mess with NEEDED Prospects in the pipeline for this or any trade. We are dealing surplus here which becomes evident on the A's flow charts below. Also evident should be the positive long term effects on the offense, defense, & tattered rotation by the addition of these two players. The pitching that becomes available as the season progresses and in 2020 is very rncouraging to me.
