FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Noah Fenner bowled his way into a Top 10 finish individually, while leading the University of Rio Grande men to a fifth place showing as a team in Saturday's American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference Tournament #1 at Pro Bowl West.
Fenner, a freshman from New Vienna, Ohio, toppled 1,016 pins in five games for a 203.2 average and a seventh-place finish in the 210-bowler field. His 235 in the opening game of the day was also the best single-game score for any Rio bowler.
Rio Grande finished with 6,840 points as a team for fifth place among the 20 participants.
