[Women's Soccer] Tigers punch semifinal ticket with 3-2 win over No. 18 UC
Josey Sobolewski took two shots and netted two shots. The junior's second goal was the decisive one in a 3-2 Georgetown College women's soccer victory over No. 18 University of the Cumberlands in the Mid-South Conference tournament quarterfinals.
"I knew we had this in us," said GC coach Leah Crews Castleman. "We picked the right game to let it out. I am so proud of these women and their heart. This is Georgetown soccer."
The Tigers advance to the semifinals next week in Bowling Green, Ky. They will play the winner of Cumberland University-Shawnee State University game 2:30 pm EST Nov. 8 at Bowling Green High School.
