[Volleyball] ONU goes 2-1 in final crossover tournament

WHITING, Indiana – The Olivet Nazarene University women's volleyball team hit the road on Friday and Saturday to compete in the final crossover tournament of the season. The Tigers competed against three other Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) teams, with all three games being hosted by Calumet College of Saint Joseph in Indiana. On Friday evening, Olivet knocked off Trinity International University in four sets, 25-11, 19-25, 28-26, 25-20. On Saturday, the Tigers split a pair of matchups. They began the day by sweeping Roosevelt University, 25-16, 25-16, 25-11, before falling in straight sets to Cardinal Stritch University, 25-22, 25-23, 25-16. The Tigers improve their overall record to 21-13 and 13-2 in the CCAC. The Tigers are tied with Trinity Christian for second place in the CCAC and will face off against each other on Tuesday, October 30th in Palos Heights.
