COKER COLLEGE BRINGS SUPPORT TO ST. ANDREWS UNIVERSITY
LAURINBURG, NC – Today representatives of the athletic department of Coker College in Hartsville, South Carolina made a trip to Laurinburg to deliver hurricane relief supplies to the St. Andrews University (SAU) campus as a gesture that exhibited support, kindness, friendship and the desire to "love thy neighbor." The Cobra Community deserves our deepest gratitude for reaching out to all of us to provide the assistance following Hurricane Florence. In response, SAU Vice President Glenn Batten said, "We have enjoyed a friendly rivalry with Coker College for many years, and this effort to help at a difficult time emboldens our appreciation and respect for the school and all of our Coker friends. We are very grateful."
