[Women's Lacrosse] Baker named first team all-KCAC, three others on second team
On the eve of the KCAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament, four Bees were named to the all-conference team.
Dallas Baker received first team all-conference recognition while Jamie Rieger, Allie Ruggiero and Elizabeth Zia were named to the second team.
The four have helped St. Ambrose, in its first year as a varsity program, to a 9-4 record and a spot in the league tournament.
Baker, a sophomore from Park Ridge, Ill., leads SAU with 18 caused turnovers and is second with both 30 ground balls and 40 draw controls. Offensively, she has chipped in with 33 goals, the second-best mark on the team. Baker took home KCAC and NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week honors on March 5 after causing six turnovers and scoring 12 goals over two games.
