[Acrobatics & Tumbling] Tigers have historic meet with wins in pyramid and toss
In their third meet of the season, Georgetown College acrobatics and tumbling put up a momentous shift in their performance against Adrian College. Right before halftime, the Tigers claimed their first event win in program history in the pyramid event. At the half, they trailed by just over 11 points.
The Tigers kicked off the second half with another exciting first by winning the toss event. Heading into the team event, which has a possible total of 110 points, AC held a narrow 147.475 to 131.675 advantage, 15.8 points. As Georgetown did not compete a team routine, Adrian won the meet 228.945-131.67. However, the day felt like a win and a big step forward for GC.
