[Softball] Lions Unable To Stop Cumberland's Winning Streak

DAYTON, Tenn. – In the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against Mid-South Conference visitor Cumberland University (Tenn.), the Bryan College softball team produced the largest scoring frame of the game when they responded to the Phoenix' three runs in the top of the first with four of their own in the bottom of the inning, but the Lions would come up empty in the rest of the game except for a lone run in the bottom of the sixth as Cumberland soared to an 11-5 victory. Once again in game two, Bryan limited their scoring to only two innings as Cumberland matched the Lions in the same innings while also tacking on a run late that helped the Phoenix seal the 8-6 win and the sweep.
