[Baseball] Baseball Sweeps WV Tech

The Bearcats completed a three game RSC weekend sweep over the Golden Bears of West Virginia Institute of Technology. The Bearcats finished the weekend scoring 32 runs off of 33 hits through 25 innings of play. Alex Flock led the offense going 5 for 11 on the weekend with 7 RBI's, 7 Run's Scored, and 2 HR's. Brescia also got three very good starts from their starting pitchers. Hunter Kloke, Zach McDonald, and Kestler Harbuck combined to throw 21 of the 25 innings of play. Coach Christian McHatton had this to say about the weekend, "This was a fun weekend of baseball. It's always nice to pick up a sweep and to do it on the road is even better. We finally played some complete games. Had several big hits and our pitchers threw it well. Now we just have to keep it rolling into the following series."

The Bearcats are back in action today as they travel to Murray, Ky to take on Division 1 Murray State University at 6:00 PM. The Bearcats are also in action this weekend for another RSC series at Ohio Christian University.
