[Baseball] Trojans remain on road; visit Briar Cliff (Iowa), Mount Marty (S.D.) and Dordt (Iowa)

THIS WEEK
· The Dakota State University Trojan Baseball team (0-8 overall record) returns back to the Midwest region, continuing their action away from their home field with six games scheduled in a span of five days. The Trojans will face three different opponents from the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
· Dakota State, searching for their first wins of the season, was originally scheduled to host Briar Cliff (Iowa) (11-6 overall record) Saturday but has been moved to Sioux City, Iowa. DSU and BCU will play a four-game series at Bishop Mueller Field (3303 Rebecca Street) on the campus of Briar Cliff. The doubleheader begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
· The Trojans continue their action on the road on Tuesday afternoon, visiting in-state rival Mount Marty (S.D.) (12-6 overall record) with a single 9-inning game. First pitch from the Bob Tereshinski Stadium at Riverside Field (200 Levee Street) is set for 3 p.m. in Yankton, S.D. Following the game, both DSU and MMC will have a junior varsity game at approximately 5 p.m.
· On Wednesday afternoon, Dakota State travels to Sioux Center, Iowa for another 9-inning game versus Dordt (Iowa) (2-4 overall record). The game will be held at Open Space Park (498 4th Ave. NE) on the campus of Dordt with the first pitch starting at 4 p.m.
