COLUMBIA, Ky. - The No. 7-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's soccer team opens the Mid-South Conference Tournament Quarterfinals against Shawnee State (Ohio) at 9:30 a.m. CT at Warren Central High School in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
The Blue Raiders (11-2-0, 7-0-0 MSC) who are looking to claim their 13th MSC Tournament title and first since 2012 enter the tournament as the No.1 seed after defeating Campbellsville (Ky.) 4-0 on Oct. 25 to clinch the MSC regular season title. Reigning MSC Offensive Player of the Week Tyler Collishaw recorded his third hat trick of the season. Collishaw scored in the second minute, 10th minute and in the 87th minute. Yuta Yamamoto added a goal and Andres Riquelme recorded an assist. Junior goalkeeper William Diaz recorded his seventh shutout of the season recording four saves. Lindsey Wilson outshot the Tigers 25-9 and held a 9-4 edge in shots on goal.
