[Women's Cross Country] Vargas Named SAC Women's Runner-of-the-Week

SHAWNEE- The Sooner Athletic Conference women's cross country Runner-of-the-Week is Alexas Vargas (SO/Terrell, Texas) of St. Gregory's University. The sophomore from Terrell, Texas was SGU's first runner to finish at the Tabor College Invitational. She finished fifth out of 56 total runners with a time of 20:39 in the 5K race.

Head Coach Ben Dodson, had this to say about Vargas' performance on Saturday morning," "Alexas did a great job leading the women's team.  She got out and just competed, which led her to one of her best finishes in her college career."

Coach Chris Creal called this one of Vargas' best races of her career and that he was extremely proud of her race.
