MOBILE, Ala. — No. 5 Campbellsville ran into a buzzsaw this morning, as top-ranked Georgia Gwinnett ended Campbellsville's hopes of an NAIA Tennis Championship by sweeping the Tigers in an hour and 37 minutes, 5-0.
The loss for CU ends the Tigers' season with a 26-5 record – all five losses come to Georgia Gwinnett (twice) No. 4 Lindsey Wilson, No. 16 William Woods and NCAA D2 Oklahoma Baptist in the NCCAA Championship final last week.
