Cecere Joins Washington INF
The Washington Wild Things have signed Infielder Joey Cecere for the 2017 season, according to officials.The Georgia native played two seasons with the University of North Georgia from 2014-2015 where he left his mark playing in the Peach Belt Conference. As a Nighthawk, Cecere racked up 129 hits, 21 doubles, 60 RBI and 17 stolen bases.In 2016 Cecere joined the Garden City Wind and put together an All-Star worthy campaign. Making 51 starts at shortstop, he added 70 hits, 40 RBI, 20 stolen bases
