[Women's Lacrosse] Shorthanded Warriors Fall to St. Mary

FREMONT, Neb. – Midland University hosted the University of Saint Mary on a windy Sunday afternoon at Heedum Field as the teams opened up conference play. Despite playing down two women from the start of the game, the Warriors controlled the lead from early in the first quarter through the majority of the third. The Spires went on a run to take the lead and then held on for the 9-7 comeback win. Midland drops to 2-4 on the season and 0-1 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) while USM improves to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
