[Women's Swimming] Basto Named NAIA Women's Swimmer of the Month

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Cumberlands' (Ky.) Maria Basto has been named the NAIA Women's Swimmer of the Month, the national office announced Friday.

Basto won nine races, earned a pair of A cuts and is ranked in the top five of the NAIA in five events. She clocked a 56.68 in the 100 back and a 2:03.09 in the 200 back in achieving "A" cuts in both events by over a half second.
