RIO GRANDE, Ohio - Stephen Appiah scored a pair of goals and assisted on another, leading a second half rally which produced a 4-1 win for the University of the Cumberlands over the University of Rio Grande, Sunday morning, in the final round of the RedStorm Labor Day Classic at Evan E. Davis Field.
The Patriots, who were among the schools receiving votes in the NAIA preseason coaches' poll, evened their season record at 2-2-1 with the victory.
Rio Grande, which was ranked No. 13 in the same poll, suffered its first loss in four outings.
