[Softball] No. 3 Seed Softball Wins First-Ever NAIA Opening Round Game

Bowling Green, Ky.- For only the second time in program history, the softball team was in action at the NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round. The team took the field as the No. 3 seed in the Bowling Green Bracket against the No. 2 seed Campbellsville University Lady Tigers. The bracket was being played in Bowling Green, Ky., and hosted by the Mid-South Conference. The last time the program was in the opening round in 2015, the team went 0-2 in the double-elimination tournament.
