Grand Rapids, Mich. – The Saint Xavier University softball team (11-5, 0-0 CCAC) dropped a pair of games to Aquinas College (Mich.) in a non-conference doubleheader played at the Cornerstone University Softball Field Sunday afternoon in Grand Rapids, Mich. The Cougars lost in five innings in game one, 9-0, and lost game two by allowing five runs in the bottom of the 7th to lose 9-8. Senior catcher Brittany Schultz set the program record for runners caught stealing in a career in the bottom of the 1st in game two. She has thrown out 38 would-be base stealers in her career.
