[Men's Volleyball] Cougars unable to slow down Gauchos, fall in three sets

Isle Vista, Calif. - Playing one of the best programs in the country, No. 10 Saint Xavier men's volleyball (1-2, 0-0) didn't have enough on Tuesday night against NCAA Division I - University of California Santa Barbara (1-2). The Cougars fell in three sets, 25-20, 25-18, 25-17. Shane Ooms (SO/Shorewood, Ill.) led the Cougars with nine kills. The Gauchos ended last season ranked No. 12 in the country. The Cougars tested Santa Barbara in all three sets.
