[Women's Basketball] Jackson leads Tigers of Interamericana
Georgetown College women's basketball ended a two-game skid with a dominant 80-57 win over Interamericana in Puerto Rico. The Tigers (10-3) grab control with a second quarter which featured great offense and smoother defense. Interamericana managed just nine points in that 10-minute stretch to trail 49-21 at the break.
Bench production was huge Friday as Callie Jackson led the scoring with 18 points, 14 of which came in the first half. Shelia McNealy dropped 13, while Lexie Stapleton had 11. Izzy Lamparty was the lone double-digit scorer from the starters with 14.
