[Baseball] Baseball split MSC Opening Round Games with Shawnee State; Close Out Series Tomorrow

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson baseball team battled for the Mid-South Conference Opening Round series sweep at Egnew Park but the Shawnee State (Ky.) homerun ball proved to be too much for the Blue Raiders to overcome. The two-game day featured 50 hits and 43 runs scored between the two squads.

Lindsey Wilson took the first game by a final score of 8-7 but the Bears bounced back with a 17-11 win in game two. The Bears managed five home runs in both nine-inning contests as the Blue Raiders managed three throughout the day.
