[Women's Golf] UHV women in second at season-opening tournament

PEARLAND - Battling the elements Monday at the Pearland Golf Club, the University of Houston-Victoria women's golf team stood in second place at the Texas Southern Hank Stewart Collegiate.

The Jaguars posted an opening round 380 and are 35 shots back of host Texas Southern, who posted a 345 score. Conditions for most for of the day were cold and windy.
