KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On the strength of some strong serving and consistently killer net defense, Avila volleyball (7-5, 3-1 KCAC) cruised through the first two sets before fending off a late Trojan comeback attempt to defeat Hannibal-LaGrange (2-7, 1-3 AMC) in four sets inside Mabee Fieldhouse on Tuesday night.
