Andrew Richards was faced with a tough decision: one final season lacing up his baseball cleats, grabbing a bat and taking a cut, or step off the diamond and into the behind-the-scenes world of professional baseball.

Coming off a 2019 season in which he hit four home runs and showcased a .916 OPS to help the Ravens go 26-12, Richards was set up to be part of the Ravens formidable lineup in 2020, but his future came calling and he chose to answer the phone.

Richards took a position with the Kansas City Royals, meaning he'd have to miss out on his final season with Ravens Baseball.
