[Baseball] Week 7: Baseball Players of the Week

OKLAHOMA CITY – The NAIA home run king, Luis Vargas of Wayland Baptist, claimed his third Sooner Athletic Conference baseball player of the week honors, while the Pioneers' L.J. Diaz earned his second pitcher of the week honors of 2020 as the duo earned weekly accolades for their performances from March 9-15, the conference office announced Monday afternoon (March 16).

Wayland Baptist swept the players of the week selections for the second time this season (Feb. 17-23). The pair marked the fifth and sixth weekly selections for the Pioneers in 2020.
