[Football] Late fourth-quarter comeback propels Lindsey Wilson to 30-26 win over Saint Francis
COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 6 ranked Lindsey Wilson football team scored two touchdowns across the final three minutes of play as they were able to overcome a 10 point deficit to defeat No. 11 Saint Francis in the First Round of the NAIA Football Championship Series.
Trailing by 10 points with just 3:37 to play the Blue Raiders took over at their own 38-yard line. Cameron Dukes connected with Terrill Cole Jr. for 34 yards and then found Joshua Lewis for 25 yards to march the ball all the way to the Cougar four-yard line. Boyd capped off the 58 second, seven-play drive with a one-yard score.
