[Women's Soccer] Saints Take Down Lakers 1-0

Chicago, Ill. The Holy Cross College women's soccer team traveled to Chicago this afternoon to take on conference-foe Roosevelt University. Freshman Ma'Elena scored the game winning goal in the 42nd minute off an assist from Lauren Cernak. The game would be scoreless in the second half as the Saints would win 1-0. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in the CCAC while Roosevelt falls to 1-4-2 and 0-3-1. This is the first time in Saints history women's soccer reached five wins in a season.
