[Softball] Big first inning, Blades' complete game propels Campbellsville past Pikeville 8-1

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – No. 2 seed Campbellsville (Ky.) defeated seventh-seeded Pikeville (Ky.) 8-1 in the first round of the Mid-South Conference Softball Tournament at Buchanon Park.

Campbellsville (31-11) outhit Pikeville (28-23) 14-7 in the game. Five different Lady Tigers recorded two hits led by Lexi Miller who drove in a pair of runs. Payton Blades pitched a complete game allowing one run on seven hits with a pair of strikeouts.
