[Women's Basketball] Spica Reaches 1,000 Career Points as AQ Downs Alma

A scoring milestone was achieved on Saturday afternoon (Dec. 29) in the Sturrus Center, as the Aquinas women's basketball team doubled up visiting Alma in a 70-35 non-conference victory. Early in the third quarter, senior guard Bri Spica (SR/Grand Rapids, Michigan) joined the 1,000 point club at Aquinas with a layup to cap off her 11-point afternoon.
