[Men's Cross Country] Smith Garners 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Men's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Honors
DAYTON, Tenn. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the list of 223 men's cross country student-athletes that were named 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and Bryan College's Brady Smith (JR/Mount Airy, Md.) was the lone Lion runner to garner the honors. In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor. This is the first time of his career that Smith has been named a Scholar-Athlete.
