[Bowling] Midland Bowling Competes at Mid-State Championships in Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. – Midland University's men's and women's bowling took the lanes at West Acres Bowl and Northrock Lanes in Wichita, Kansas over the weekend for the Mid-States Championships. Competition for the two-day tournament was one of the toughest of the year thus far as 31 men's and 27 women's teams from all over the nation traveled to compete at the tier one event.
The men finished 10th overall, just missing the cut for the bracketed championship rounds, while the women qualified 4th but were ousted in the first round by eventual champion Newman.
