[Men's Soccer] Gomez Scores Twice in 2-1 Point Win over TWU; 9th Straight Victory

WEST POINT, Ga. – Sophomore forward Juan Gomez (Malaga, Spain) scored both of Point's goals in the first half and lifted Point University (9-0-1; 4-0 AAC) to a 2-1 victory over Tennessee Wesleyan University (8-4; 4-2 AAC) in Saturday, Oct. 6 Appalachian Athletic Conference men's soccer action in River Bowl Stadium.  Point has won nine consecutive matches and remained unbeaten in conference play.  Coached by Jonathan Lenarz (fourth season), the Skyhawks play a make-up conference match at Union College in Barbourville, Ky., Thursday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m.
