[Football] Williams of SAGU Lands NAIA Defensive Player of Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Southwestern Assemblies of God's Torionte Williams garnered NAIA football defensive player of the week for Sept. 10-16.

Williams, a sophomore linebacker from Ennis, Texas, led the Lions to their first Sooner Athletic Conference win of the season 54-23 over Wayland Baptist on Saturday in Plainview, Texas.
