[Softball] Racers take two from Tigers

Georgetown College softball team finished up a 10-game week schedule in a tough way. The Tigers (9-3) were on an 8-0 week before bringing in University of Northwestern Ohio. Maybe it was the wear and tear of the week, but lack of hitting and errors played a role in the 4-3, 7-5 losses.

GC managed just 17 hits in 14 innings while stranding 14.

The Tigers leveled game one in the bottom of the first and took its only lead Sunday with two runs in the bottom of the third. The Racers (4-0) answered those two runs back in the top of the fourth and hit a solo home run for winning tally in the fifth.
