Chris Coleman can tout plenty of growth under his 12 years of leadership -- one new baseball stadium and more vitality downtown, another stadium rising in the Midway area, the Palace Theater, new restaurants and growth along the Green Line. But challenges remain: controversy over plans for the Ford site, ongoing city budget troubles, growing poverty across the city.
