Hillsboro Hops Named Freitas Award Winner by Baseball America
Baseball America has honored the Hillsboro Hops with the Freitas Award for 2017. The publication has handed out the Freitas Award every year since 1989 to honor the top overall operations in minor league baseball. The Hops are being honored as the top short season/rookie league organization.
