Formula One • Rosberg Retires from Racing
You all hear the news right?
Well, this is absolutly surpising to say the least. I never, ever expected this right after he won the title. But you know, i'm actually like this. I totaly can understand Nico's decision, it was a tough year maybe the toughest year for him ever. He has a little girl at home which he never see. I'm myself an Uncle since a year & a half and it is just the greatest thing you can have in life a little child and be there for him/her. The Motorsport/F1 is changing, changing to someting Nico isn't used. He also is now really famous and thats also something a few people doesn't take so well and the last thing. This decision, makes Nico human. I always like to see some emotions by those drivers who act like total robots these days.
YOu know by writting this, it actually starts to hurt. When i heard it, i took it with style, i didn't said much and showed any emotion. But now by writting this, i realize that Nico actually is the only driver, which career i followed since the beginning. From 2002 until 2006, i always was at Hockenheim at the DTM. Before the DTM race there are races for Formel BMW & Formel 3, this is where i saw Nico the 1st time and when i knew he is the son of Keke Rosberg i started to follow those series. Nico had some hard times there too, he wasn't as succesfull like everybody thought, but it was good enough for GP2 and later F1. So yeah, this is somehow a 1st time for me if a driver retieres, that i followed basicly his whole career. Is strange and odd to know he is still alive but i won't see him again, or maybe many years later and he looks totaly different.
