Bulletproof at Nitto's Auto Enthusiasts Day, Anaheim 2014
Hosted by Nitto Tires, Auto Enthusiast Day was on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 in Anaheim at the Angel’s Stadium. We brought along four cars including Jonny’s Mazda FD3S RX7, Derek’s Z34 370z, Unplugged Performance’s Tesla Model S, as well as the Bulletproof Automotive FRS Concept One.
It was scorcher in Anaheim. Hot and humid. During setup, we changed wheels to the Z34 and RX-7 in blazing sun and heat. Later that day, there was overcast and a slight, cool breeze, but it was still very warm.
This event is for all types of car enthusiasts. One walk around, and you can tell there are various types of people who came by the Angel Stadium to view cars. From muscle cars, to trucks, to euro cars, slammed cars, race cars, drift cars, electric cars, even more. HPI Racing was there with the electric drift cars for people to play with or buy.
There was a drift show every few hours for 30 minutes where Formula D drivers came by with their cars to give a drift demonstration, as well as ride alongs. Smoke, burning rubber, and tire pieces were everywhere.
Our booth recieved tons of love, as Jonny’s wide body RX-7 debuted. Everyone was giving the balloon white FD3S some love.
Viewers left positive remarks on the carbon + alcantara interior of the FRS Concept One, as well as the carbon seat covers inside the Tesla Model S. Derek’s 370Z’s new seats sat aggressively in front of the titanium Powerhouse Amuse bar, and people loved how that looked.
Derek’s new Work Meisters S1s looked so sick with the dark grey calipers and shiny brake rotors on his Z, and the balloon white FD3S on gunmetal blue ZE40s looks amazing.
Of course, the ADV.1s on the Tesla Model S brought tons of people over, taking pictures of the wheels and Unplugged aerodynamic body kit.
