Industry-leading fan experience upgrade launches Opening Night 2026

OHSWEKEN, ON (May 4, 2026) – Ohsweken Speedway is set to raise the bar for short track racing once again, as Glenn Styres Racing (GSR) announces a major fan experience upgrade for the 2026 season-FREE WiFi coverage available throughout the entire facility.

Launching on Opening Night 2026, the new service will be available during both Thursday and Friday race programs, giving fans, teams, and partners seamless connectivity from anywhere on-site. With a simple, barrier-free connection, guests can log on instantly and stay connected all night long.

This initiative positions Ohsweken Speedway as one of the first short tracks in Canada-and among a select few in North America-to offer complimentary public WiFi access to all attendees, reinforcing its reputation as a leader in innovation and fan-first thinking.

“This is about enhancing the experience for every single fan that walks through our gates,” said Clinton Geoffrey, General Manager of Ohsweken Speedway. “With free WiFi across the facility, we’re giving our fans the ability to share the excitement in real time, stay engaged with the action, and be part of something bigger every Friday night.”

The addition of full-facility WiFi unlocks a new level of engagement for race fans, allowing them to:

  • Share live content instantly on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X
  • Watch race replays, highlights, and clips from GForceTV
  • Follow live timing and scoring
  • Stay connected with friends and family throughout the event

Beyond the fan experience, the move is expected to significantly expand the digital footprint of Ohsweken Speedway events, driving organic social media promotion and increasing visibility for teams, sponsors, and partners.

“Our goal is simple—we want to keep improving this facility every chance we get. Whether it’s for the fans, the teams, or the overall experience, we’re never going to stop looking for ways to make Ohsweken better.

This WiFi upgrade is another step in that direction, giving fans the ability to stay connected and be part of the experience all night long.”

– Glenn Styres, Speedway Owner

With thousands of fans in attendance each race night and a growing global audience through live streaming and national broadcasts, the addition of free WiFi further strengthens Ohsweken Speedway’s value to partners and advertisers, providing enhanced opportunities for engagement both on-site and online.

As the 2026 season approaches, Ohsweken Speedway continues to lead the way in modernizing the short track experience-combining elite racing with forward-thinking upgrades that benefit fans, teams, and partners alike.
