About Schofield Springs
Schofield Springs is co-owned by Larry McKinney of McKinney Construction, Chris Paradiso of Paradiso Insurance, and Scott Nigro of Aqua Pump. Schofield Springs two years ago was named Best Tasting Non-Filtered Water from the CT Water Competition and it is a self-service spring water vending machine that is located on River Road / Route 32 on the Willington-Stafford town line. Schofield Springs is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for customers to purchase water. The machine dispenses a gallon of water for $1.00 per gallon and customers must bring their own water jugs with them. The vending machine accepts dollar bills as well as coins.
“We didn’t enter the water in the contest this year but we’re proud to have won the award for best tasting non-filtered water 2 years ago when we entered the water in the Connecticut Water Competition,” continued McKinndy. “It’s some of the cleanest water you’ll find anywhere and we continue to have it tested to ensure quality and freshness.”
The first Schofield Springs contingency of the 2026 season will be paid out as part of the 54th Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler®, set for April 25-26. The NAPA Spring Sizzler® kicks off on Saturday, April 25, with feature events for the Late Model, Limited Late Model, Street Stock, and Granite State ProStock divisions, along with SK Light qualifying duel races that will set the field for an extra-distance 30-lap feature event on Sunday, April 26.
