2026 Australian GP Atlassian Williams F1 Preview

The Atlassian Williams F1 Team starts their 2026 Formula 1 season with the opening race in Melbourne, the Australian GP. This race will mark the first event to be run under the new 12026 F1 regulations with the new slightly smaller cars and new engines. For the Williams F1 team it will see the first competitive run of the 2026 FW48. For the drivers, Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon, this race will see them having to contend with a new series of regulations governing things such as power management. Coming from the teams two Bahrain tests there is still a degree of uncertainty as to how the FW48 will perform in its first race. I am hoping that the team can start the 2026 season off with a positive race, maybe not a points result but at least to see the team see both cars finish the race as well as overall the team making the most of the weekend.
