Pro Driver, Dennis Macchio, Joins the NJMP Drivers Club Coaching Program

MILLVILLE, NJ (November 22, 2025) – Master Driver Coach and retired Pro Driver, Dennis Macchio, has announced a special program for New Jersey Motorsports Drivers Club members for the 2026 season.

With the advent of the reciprocal agreement between NJMP, and the Member Track Network, club members will now have the opportunity to drive a number of other tracks at little or no cost.

“Driving a new track, for some of our less experienced drivers can sometimes be a daunting experience,” said Macchio, “yet it is an important step in the development of a driver.”

With over 45 years of professional experience in motorsports, Macchio is often cited as one of, if not the top instructor in the country. His long career includes titles and accolades such as owner and lead instructor at the Bertil Roos Racing School. He also held the title of part-owner and Managing Partner at the fabled Bridgehampton Race Circuit. He then lent his track experience as Track Director at Monticello Motor Club, and as track designer and consultant at numerous tracks.

Macchio also owned and coached at Hot Shoe Racing, which won three National Championships, including two drivers in their rookie season. He is now a Senior Instructor at Skip Barber Racing School, as well as a frequent coach, and long-time Drivers Club member, at NJMP.

His client list over the years has include many Indy Car, F2 and F3, IMSA and NASCAR drivers.

The key to this new coaching initiative, which can be one or two days, is a systemic approach to learning a new track; one that focuses on safety, efficiency, repeatability, consistency, and fun.
